Terms of Service

The agreement between you and Sahaab for using Sahaab.

Effective 20 October 2026

These terms apply when you download, install or use the Sahaab hosting control panel (the "Software"), buy a subscription, or use our websites and online services (together, the "Services"). The Services are provided by Sahaab ("we", "us"). By using the Services you agree to these terms. If you use them for a company, you confirm that you may bind it.

1. The Software and your license

The Software is installed on servers you control. While your subscription is active (or during the free trial), we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the Software on one server per license, for up to the number of hosting accounts of your plan, to provide hosting services to yourself and your customers.

You may not: resell or sublicense license keys; remove or work around license checks or limits; or copy, modify, decompile or redistribute the Software except as the law expressly allows. Third-party open-source components included in the Software remain under their own licenses.

2. Free trial

Every new installation can be used free of charge with all features for 15 days. No payment details are needed. After the trial, existing websites keep running, but adding accounts and transfers require an active subscription.

3. Subscriptions, prices and payment

  • Plans are sold per server as monthly or yearly subscriptions at the prices shown on our pricing page at the time of purchase, in US dollars. Taxes are added where the law requires.
  • Payments are processed by our payment provider, Stripe. By subscribing, you authorise us to charge your payment method at the start of each period until you cancel.
  • Your license key is delivered immediately after payment, in your customer area and by email.
  • We may change prices for future periods. We will tell you by email at least 30 days before a change takes effect; you can cancel before then.
  • If a payment fails, we will retry and notify you. If it is not settled within 14 days, the license may be suspended until it is.

4. Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel at any time in your customer area. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period, and no further charges are made. Because the free trial lets you test every feature before paying, payments are not refundable except as described in our Cancellation & Refund Policy.

5. Your responsibilities

  • You are responsible for your servers, their security and their backups, for the accounts and content you and your customers host, and for complying with the laws that apply to your hosting business.
  • You must keep your customer-area password and license keys confidential.
  • You must follow our Acceptable Use Policy.

6. Your data

The Software runs on your servers; we do not receive your customers' websites, email or databases. The Software contacts our servers to check its license (sending the license key, a server fingerprint, host name, IP address, version and number of accounts), to look for updates, and — unless you switch it off — to send error reports from which customer data has been removed. If you use the optional AI assistant with credit bought from us, the question it sends passes through our servers to the AI provider. Details are in our Privacy Policy.

7. Updates and support

Active subscriptions include updates and email support. We aim to answer within one business day but do not guarantee response times unless agreed in writing. We may change or remove features of the Software over time; we will not remove a core feature during a paid period without notice.

8. Warranty disclaimer

We work hard to make the Software reliable and secure, but it is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted or error-free operation. Hosting involves risks outside our control; keep independent backups.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data or business, however caused. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Services is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate a license if you materially breach these terms (including non-payment or license abuse) and do not fix the breach within 14 days of our notice, or immediately where the law requires or the breach causes serious harm. You may stop using the Services at any time.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. For material changes we will notify you by email or in the customer area at least 30 days in advance; continuing to use the Services after that means you accept them.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the country where Sahaab is registered. Mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence still apply where relevant.
